CEMFORGE™ Data Deletion Policy

This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data from the CEMFORGE platform (cemforge.ai and app.cemforge.ai). This policy supplements our Privacy Policy.

What Data We Store

When you use CEMFORGE, we may store:

  • Account information — name, email address, hashed password
  • Subscription and billing data — plan tier, payment history (processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers)
  • Formulation data — mix design inputs, parameters, and results you generate through the platform
  • Usage data — features accessed, session activity, technical logs

How to Request Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us:

What Happens When You Request Deletion

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will:

  1. Confirm your identity — We will verify that the request comes from the account holder.
  2. Delete your personal data — Your account information, formulation history, and usage data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the verified request.
  3. Cancel active subscriptions — Any active subscription will be cancelled. You will not be charged after the current billing period.
  4. Send confirmation — We will notify you by email once deletion is complete.

Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained after your deletion request where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • Legal obligations — Transaction records required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance
  • Aggregated, de-identified data — Statistical data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained for research and model improvement purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy

Account Deletion vs. Data Deletion

Deleting your account also deletes your personal data. If you wish to delete your account entirely, you may do so by:

Third-Party Data

If you authenticated using a third-party service (e.g., Google Sign-In), deleting your CEMFORGE account removes your data from our systems. You may also need to revoke access through the third-party service’s settings.
