A bounded review could compare available records for source identity, gradation, particle shape, moisture, absorption, density, mineralogy, contaminants, test method, sampling date, lot variability, transport, and applicable environmental documentation.
The review may identify missing or conflicting information and propose questions for controlled trial batching. It cannot establish supplier equivalency, pumpability, extrudability, buildability, strength, durability, environmental superiority, delivered cost, or project suitability.
Any substitution requires lot-specific characterization, physical testing with the actual binder, admixtures, equipment, and conditions, plus approval by the parties responsible for the project and its specifications.
