From Parameters to Print-Ready Mix
CEMFORGE walks you through a six-step process — from application selection to complete mix design — in minutes rather than weeks of lab iteration.
Step 1 — Application & Template: Headline: Define Your Application Body: Select your application type — 3D printing, UHPC, low carbon, quick set, or educational. Choose a validated starting template or configure from scratch. Templates automatically populate target strength, water-binder ratio, and particle distribution parameters based on established performance benchmarks.
Step 2 — Targets: Headline: Set Your Performance Targets Body: Define compressive strength, tensile strength, and initial set time using calibrated sliders within validated engineering ranges. These targets drive every subsequent stage of the formulation engine — the output is optimized specifically to meet what you define here.
Step 3 — Materials: Headline: Select Your Materials Body: Choose from a tiered material catalog spanning binders, aggregates, fibers, and admixtures — organized across four categories. Your tier determines catalog depth. Pro and EDU users access the full library including specialty SCMs, fiber systems, and admixtures. The engine works only with materials you select — no unauthorized substitutions.
Step 4 — Tune: Headline: Dial In Your Parameters Body: Adjust water-binder ratio, binder-to-aggregate ratio, and particle size distribution q-factor. Pro users access advanced controls including paste excess factor, Hybrid MAA optimization, and fine sand reduction. Enable optional carbon targeting to constrain embodied CO₂ or optimize against a specific carbon limit with carbonation sequestration modeled over your project's design life.
Step 5 — Prediction Method: Headline: Choose Your Modeling Approach Body: Select from three prediction paths — standard machine learning ensemble, neural network, or hybrid method combining both with weighted averaging. The hybrid method is the default and typically delivers the highest accuracy. Your selection determines how the engine trains against the formulation database for your specific parameter set.
Step 6 — Generate & Review: Headline: Receive Your Formulation Body: CEMFORGE runs our multi-stage pipeline — from particle packing optimization through strength validation, set time prediction, density calculation, and superplasticizer dosage determination. The output is a complete, validated mix design with predicted compressive, tensile, and flexural strength, fresh and aged density, set time, SP dosage, and optional carbon footprint.
